Project ECHO® promotes care in underserved areas
The mission of Project ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) is to develop the capacity to safely and effectively treat chronic, common and complex diseases in rural and underserved areas, and to monitor outcomes of this treatment. The ECHO team consists of a physician and a pharmacist, along with a behavioral health specialist, social worker and nurse when needed. Many College of Pharmacy faculty are key members of ECHO teams.
