Ray received her PharmD from the University of New Mexico in 2006. She completed a PGY1 residency at the University of New Mexico Hospital in 2007 and a PGY2 residency in cardiovascular pharmacotherapy in 2008. She joined the faculty at the UNM College of Pharmacy in 2008.
Ray practices as a pharmacist clinician in the UNM Family Medicine clinics, specializing in diabetes management and cardiovascular risk reduction. Her interests include the implementation of clinical pharmacist services within the ambulatory care setting, especially among patients with diabetes.
She is the director of an ASHP accredited PGY2 pharmacy residency in ambulatory care and is involved in ambulatory care-based research with her residents.
